Getting Here
Jackson Hole is served by direct flights from Salt Lake City, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Dallas Fort/Worth, Atlanta, New York-JFK, Newark, Minneapolis/St. Paul, and Houston. It may be cheaper to fly into Salt Lake City, a 5-hour drive. Salt Lake Express and Alltrans offer multiple daily transport to Jackson Hole from SLC Airport. However, weather is often a factor in this part of the world, and flying directly into JAC may save you some headaches. Other nearby airports include Idaho Falls (IDA) and Pocatello (PIH). Cab service is available to and from the airport, as well as the Ride2Fly shuttle.

Getting Around
Once you've arrived in Jackson, getting around is quite easy - no car is necessary. The local transit system is quite extensive, offering round-the-clock service within the Town of Jackson and to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort 12 miles away. Jackson Hole is covered well by local cab companies, and Uber is available, but service can be hit-and-miss. The conference facility, the Jackson Hole Center for the Arts, is located in the Town of Jackson's core and is 1-2 blocks from conference hotels and many other lodging options.

Getting Sleep
For Summit attendees, special rates are available at The Wort Hotel for $168/night (a screaming deal!). As another option, attendees can book the luxurious Hotel Jackson for 10% of the going rate. Ask for the "Mountain Town Planners" or "VARD" rate. Both are fabulous and located within two blocks of the conference facility in Downtown Jackson. Countless alternatives are available through your favorite travel websites, however we recommend that you stay in the Town of Jackson. Though Teton Village is located at the base of the epic Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, it is 12 miles away from the town center and traffic can be quite heavy.

Getting Out
There is no shortage of winter activities in Jackson Hole. Of course, there is plenty of downhill skiing to be had at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Grand Targhee on the western slope of the Tetons, or the tiny - but steep - Snow King Resort in the Town of Jackson, which offers night skiing until 7pm. Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park are closed to vehicle traffic, but snowmobile or snowcoach tours are available. As far as restaurants and bars, there are endless options for any palate or budget, and most establishments are within walking distance of the conference facility.
